Yum yum!! Wonton soup is a hit! Good shrimp and chicken ratio to broccoli and veggies.

This is a pretty solid Chinese take out restaurant. It's located on Sherman Way and Variel in a shopping plaza. The parking lot is bigger than expected and the parking spaces are not tight with room to park and back out. There was also an older security guard that was walking around, which makes me feel a little bit better about coming here. The dining area is pretty small with limited seating. From what I can see, the options here seems to be less than at other restaurants similar to this one. I decided to go with Combo C which included rice/chow mein and 3 items. I ordered the teriyaki chicken, orange chicken and pork spare ribs. I also ordered some veggie egg rolls for 4 pieces for $3. I decided to go with just fried rice and I noticed how much more yellow it is than at other locations. The person helping me out kept on piling on food and it was hard to close the box. Although, I noticed that the take out box is smaller than what I'm used to seeing. I would have liked for the orange chicken to be crispier. Not sure if having it sit in the box for 30 minutes affected this or maybe this was an older batch. I did notice that while I was paying, they brought out a fresh batch. Flavor wise, it was pretty good, though the flavor is not as strong as Panda's. It was still pretty good though. The teriyaki chicken didn't look like it had any sauce on it, and when I bit in to it, you can taste the sauce, but it's very light. The skin was slightly crispy and tender. The pork ribs was on the dry side and wasn't that great. I don't understand how it could be dry when it's swimming in a broth. Plus, I was not given an egg with my pork ribs. Overall, this is a solid Chinese take out with great pricing and you get more than you pay for. For a 3 item, it came out to about $12. They do accept credit cards just in case anyone was wondering.

Good little hot bar Chinese spot. Food here is solid and the prices are cheap! I'd give it like a 3.5 overall but the bang for your buck takes this up to a 4 star review. I wanted to grab some Chinese food on National Chinese Takeout Day, which also happened to be Election Day (or National 'sit on your ass eating takeout with a glass of wine watching the news' night). Dragon King is closed on Tuesdays so I ended up picking Royal Dragon over Szechwan Inn, having tried neither before, just due to the hot bar format and being able to likely try a lot of things without spending a bunch. I got a Combo C (three entree plate) with jalapeño chicken, orange chicken, and salt and pepper drumsticks. I enjoyed all three and would put those entrees in the 7-8/10 range. The egg fried rice was good as well. I did not like the veggie chow mein and wish I had gotten all rice. All in all I got hella food for about $12. Not the best food in the area but definitely a solid option if you don't want to spend too much and don't want Panda Express. I'll likely be back soon.

Nice food, prices, and service. Now that the restaurant has reinstituted in restaurant dining, I can't wait to return.

Quick and affordable Chinese hot bar joint in Canoga Park. There's limited seating here, so you can eat, but I've noticed most people come for takeout. My family likes to come here and pick up some food whenever we're feeling too lazy to cook. We usually do a box with chow mein + 2 meats for ~$10, and our go to is the teriyaki chicken and the pork spare ribs. The teriyaki chicken is marinated perfectly every time and grilled very well, it's a hit with the whole family! The restaurant is located in a small plaza, so there's plenty of parking. You can always park in the larger parking lot across the street too.

Love fast Chineae food and this place is almost perfect. Fried rice is awesome. Chicken wings are delicious

Great Chinese food. I ordered the orange chicken and chow mein it was delicious! The won ton soup was very tasty too. Good find as I'm very picky with Chinese food. They offer Door Dash for delivery. Really great Chinese food!

With the understanding that this place is a simple Chinese take-out joint, I'd say my experience was solid. I've been to several Chinese take-out spots in the immediate area and honestly, this is probably the best one. They give you the biggest portions for the price, and the flavor was on point. Another spot on Sherman Way was just "okay" and a popular spot on Saticoy/Tampa was overrated as hell. This place gave more portions and had better taste. The ladies in the front serving the food were very nice and overall, I'd go back. I'm giving this place 4 stars because at the end of the day, it's simple Chinese take-out. You know what you're getting yourself into with these hole-in-the-wall take-out spots. But for what it is, it's solid and better than other take-out spots in the area. At the very least, you're getting your money's worth because they pile your plate with food.

For feeding the poor people's with their Flavors and we are all in the struggle! The exterior may look like when they first opened in... wait a very long time ago, but man I'm telling you I've been to Quingdow-China and to Beijing- China and this is like one of the hidden gems that have authentic styles of food and they also have the good O' American french fries from France' IHS+BVM PEACE BE WITH YOU ALWAYS. God love you, Glory to His holy name! Glory to my Christ King Jesus! Amen, Amen
